There are many resources out there if you are considering surrendering your pet. When difficult circumstances arise, we encourage you to research every avenue possible before surrendering your furry family member. We try our hardest to help keep animals in their home and prevent them from entering the rehoming system, which can be damaging to pets and take up space for other animals that need it. There is also a possibility that if your pet enters your local shelter, they may be euthanized. Please check out our resources page and contact us if we can answer any questions/give you any ideas on ways to keep your pet in your home.
If you are facing financial issues & need temporary assitance with food or other supplies and have not been able to recieve assistance from the organizations on the resources page, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org – although we are not able to help in every situation, if we have the resources available to help at the time, we will discuss that with you.
If you feel you absolutely must surrender your pet, we accept owner surrenders on a case by case basis and based on space available. There may be fees associated. Please email us at email@example.com with information and a photo on your pet, as well as why you are needing to rehome. Please also check out our rehoming resources on the resources page
